Steps for Use
- First, make sure that your dog's cut or wound has been properly treated and cleaned, and that there are no visible signs of infection.
- Place your dog's self-adhesive bandage over the area that needs to be immobilized and begin wrapping it from the bottom. Take care to keep it moderately tight, neither too tight to interfere with blood circulation nor too loose to cause the bandage to fall off easily.
- When wrapping the bandage, you should ensure that the bandage covers about one-third of the previous circle to ensure a secure fixation.
- When the bandage reaches the point where it needs to be finished, gently pull the bandage tight and hold it in place. Usually, self-adhesive bandages stick together on their own and do not require the use of other fixation items.
- If the area to be immobilized is larger or requires more support, repeat the steps above, wrapping the bandage several times in the desired location.
